Pre School Evaluation

Today was fun Roxy had an Evaluation at the preschool she is going to be attending. The evaluation was with an occupational therapist and physical therapist. They said that she did qualify to be seen by them which i think is awesome it's going to help her tremendously . Here are some pictures of how it went :) enjoy

  1. Hi,
I am not sure your blog is still live but i wanted to post a note as i recognized my daughter in your description. I hope Roxy is fine.
I am Pier-Ugo, from France. With my wife, Caroline, we have a daughter, Giulia. She was diagnosed with CNV (1.q21.1 micro duplication). It was 2 years ago when she was 2 years old. We went as well through battery of examinations when doctors discovered Giulia was suffering from seizures. Giulia as well did not meet regular milestones for a baby. She was having issues with equilibrium, delay in walking and language acquisition.
She is now turning 4, in August. Every week since then, we have sessions with physiotherapists and speech-therapist. Improvements are fine. She is now walking on her own, she also gets up without support. Language is still an issue but we are working on it.
This is just a brief description to compare with Roxy. This could be nice to exchange about some experiences about how to deal with this situation.
    All the best.
